About Chris Smolky

Chris serves as Founder and President of Diamond Sports Development and Training.

Chris has a true heart for the development of young athletes and is dedicated to helping young players maximize their performance on and off the field. Chris was a collegiate baseball player at Auburn University and upon completion of his degree began delivering private baseball instruction in earnest. Based upon his personal love of the game and desire to formulate young kids in their pursuit of athletic prowess, the foundation for Diamond Sports Development and Training was born.

Chris has a great baseball background as a player and coach while competing against some of the top professional athletes in the game. Working with young athletes to develop leadership, refined athletic skills, and proper nutritional habits are central to the mission of Diamond Sports. Chris understands the requirements necessary to assist young aspiring athletes who want to compete at the next level!
